Bite Lithuania has announced the expansion of its 5G mobile network to the holiday resort towns of Palanga, Karklea and Birstona. Today, service coverage is available to around 1.2 million people and the firm added that services will soon also be launched in Kunigiskiai. Bite is deploying its 5G network, which was launched for mobile customers in February this year, in partnership with Swedish equipment vendor Ericsson. It is investing EUR100 million (USD110 million) in the deployment of the new 5G network and the modernisation of its existing infrastructure.
