The higher regional court in Koblenz has ruled in a second instance in favour of 1&1 in a complaint filed by Deutsche Telekom. Telekom wanted to prevent 1&1 from marketing its product “5G at home”, which operates on the 1&1 mobile network. The marketing started in December 2022. In its final ruling, the court confirmed that 1&1 can continue to say that it is building the most modern 5G network in Europe.
