Orange Romania has expanded its 5G network to the city of Oradea, enabling customers with a 5G subscription and compatible handset to access theoretical download speeds of up to 1.2Gbps and average transfer rates of 600Mbps. The operator’s 5G mobile services are now available in 29 cities throughout the country, including Arad, Bacau, Craiova, Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi, Miercurea Ciuc, Sibiu, Suceava, Timisoara and Targu Mures, as well as mountain and summer resorts, and towns in Ilfov county. Five cities now benefit from 100% 5G coverage, those being Arad, Bucharest, Miercurea-Ciuc, Targu Mures and Sibiu.
