Icelandic telecoms operator Siminn has announced that it has installed over 100 5G transmitters across Iceland, in cooperation with Ericsson. The most recent additions are located in Dalvik, Eskifjorour, Faskruosfjorour, Grindavik, Hella, Hvolsvollur, Kleifarvatn, Reykjanesbaer, Selfoss, Seyoisfjorour, Skorradalur, Stoovarfjorour, Talknafjorour, Ulfljotsvatn and Vik in Myrdal. Further, the company has upgraded its 4G network in a number of locations; these upgrades result in increased speed and range, providing customers with better connectivity.
