Saudi Telecom Company (stc) has announced the successful completion of 5G Millimetre Wave (mmWave) technology trials in the Middle East and North Africa region, exceeding speeds of 10Gbps in the experiments. stc says this achievement ‘signifies a new stage in facilitating digital transformation in the region and places the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the forefront of advanced nations in the field of telecommunications.’
