Estonian mobile market incumbents Telia, Elisa and Tele2 have all been approved to take part in the auction of 26GHz millimetre wave (mmWave) 5G spectrum which is scheduled to begin on 10 May. As reported earlier this month, Estonia’s Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Jarelevalve Amet, TTJA) is offering six blocks of 400MHz at a starting price of EUR800,000 (USD877,000) per block.
