Uzbekistan operator Ucell has launched its 5G network in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand. The NSA network achieved broadband speeds up to 1.506 Gbps during tests there.
5G services are delivered on equipment from Nokia and Huawei in downtown Tashkent. The operator uses equipment from ZTE for coverage around the Samarkand Airport.
