OnePlus has launched its new flagship smartphone in China. The OnePlus 11 5G runs the top-of-the-range Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor from Qualcomm, along with memory of up to 16GB RAM and an advanced RAM management system for better performance in multi-tasking and gaming scenarios. Available in China from 09 January, the new phone will launch in other countries from 07 February.

The OnePlus 11 features a 6.7-inch, 2K Amoled screen with LTPO 3.0 for fast switching on the up to 120Hz adaptive-rate display. The 5,000 mAh battery supports up to 100W fast charging, and the upgraded camera is housed in a large “black hole” on the back of the device.

The camera includes a Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main sensor, the 32-megapixel IMX709 portrait lens and the IMX581 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera. A renewed partnership with Hasselblad gives the phone a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor for light-color identifying.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2

At the same time, OnePlus is launching its new wireless headphones. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 come with the company’s spatial rendering algorithm to deliver a wide sound field and multi-dimensional sound. A six-axis IMU sensor built into the earbuds monitors the position of the head for recalibrating audio to ensure the user is placed in the centre of the sound.

The earbuds also feature Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation that eliminates ambient noise up to 48dB, personalized noise cancellation based on an analysis of the ear canal and sound leakage, and Bluetooth 5.3 LE audio. They can deliver up to 39 hours of music playback, with multiple additional charges in the accompanying case.
