Lenovo has launched a new range of Moto G smartphones in Europe. The low-cost series of Android 13 smartphones will be available also in Latin America and Asia in the coming months. In addition, the company is introducing the new Moto Secure app for its smartphones and presented another model in the E series of phones.
The new G series includes two 4G models, the Moto G13 and Moto G23. Both come with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh, the MediaTek Helio G85 processor and a 50-megapixel camera with quad pixel technology. The G23 also comes with 30W fast charging.
For the 5G market, there is the new Moto G53 and G73 smartphones with a 6.5-inch FHD display with 120 Hz refresh. The G53 is powered by the Snapdragon 480+ processor with a choice of 4, 6 or 8 GB of memory, while the G73 runs the MediaTek Dimensity 930 with a 5,000 mAh battery and 30W fast charging and includes the more advanced Ultra Pixel technology and an ultra wide-angle sensor on the camera,
Both the G73 and G53 come with Thinkshield for mobile, Lenovo’s extra layer of security for hardware, and the new Moto Secure App to manage all the security and privacy features on the phone. This includes new network, PIN pad and lock screen security functions and a separate PIN-protected folder for personal data. With these devices, Moto also offers Family Space, a designated “safe space” on the phone for kids to access their own apps with parental controls.
The Moto Secure app is also included on the new ThinkPhone by Motorola and will be added to all Android 13 phones going forward.
In the E series, the company is launching the lightweight Moto E13. With an octa-core processor, 5,000 mAh battery, 13-megapixel camera and 6.5-inch HD+ display, the phone is available for a recommended price of EUR 120. It is arriving in select markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America, in a choice of black, white or green colours.
