Bouygues Telecom’s enterprise arm (Bouygues Telecom Entreprises) announced a three-year agreement with engineering consultancy Alten and Siemens France. The companies will combine their respective expertise to drive the adoption of industrial 5G in France. Among their key objectives, they plan to provide ‘ready-to-deploy’ joint offers, as well as associated services such as digital maturity audits and training programmes.

The partnership will aim to deliver projects powered by Bouygues Telecom’s 5G connectivity for industrial use cases. Alten will bring to the collaboration its practical expertise in implementing and integrating smart factory systems, while Siemens will contribute with its capabilities in Industry 4.0 transformation, including its IoT gateways.

Industrial clients will be invited to experience the advantages of 5G at dedicated demonstration sites. These include Bouygues Telecom’s InnoLab for Enterprise, where the operator will showcase its 5G private networks, Siemens’ French Digital Experience Centre (DEC), and Alten’s Lab facilities, which focus on process automation, big data, and IoT, among other areas.
