Etisalat chooses Nokia to upgrade IP core network in UAE to improve 5G

Etisalat UAE has contracted Nokia to upgrade its IP core network to support 800GE and implement transport slicing capabilities to improve 5G experience. As part of the agreement, Nokia will provide services for replacing the existing equipment with its 7750 Service Router (SR), and for implementing automated transport slicing over Etisalat’s aggregation and core network.
