Poland’s delayed auction of 5G-capable 3.5GHz spectrum is to get underway on Monday 16 October. The sale had originally been scheduled for 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The country’s four incumbent mobile network operators – Orange, Play (P4), T-Mobile and Plus (Polkomtel) – will take part in the bidding, which is expected to last less than a week. Four 100MHz blocks of spectrum are available and the reserve price has been set at PLN450 million (USD104 million), with licences valid for 15 years.
