O2 Slovakia launches 5G fixed wireless service

O2 Slovakia has launched 5G fixed wireless services for home users, offering connectivity at download rates of up to 150Mbps, according to a report from Zive.sk. The company’s 5G network is currently available to 37% of Slovakia’s population in 190 cities and towns. Packages start at EUR27 (USD29) a month, while the outdoor antenna costs EUR360 including the discounts given over the course of a four-year contract.
