Es triste leer el furor mediático que critica públicamente el servicio de portabilidad del número de móvil de Bangladesh y la BTRC. Los problemas que se han denunciado sugieren que el programa de implementación original dirigido por los operadores estaba muy mal ejecutado. Es una gran pena que la credibilidad pública del servicio de portabilidad de números móviles de Bangladesh y de la BTRC se vea perjudicada por las luchas públicas entre las diferentes partes interesadas, alimentadas por los medios de comunicación.

Qué diferente es el mundo desarrollado de la banda ancha/Internet que habitamos ahora en 2020 en comparación con quince años antes. Si la pandemia de COVID19 se hubiera producido en enero/febrero de 2005 (en lugar de en 2020), la mayor parte del mundo desarrollado estaría en la oscuridad de la banda ancha/internet: el 90% del Reino Unido, el 93% de Alemania, etc.
