Indian full-service provider Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of its 5G network in 125 new cities, bringing its total coverage to more than 265 cities nationwide. The operator is aiming to extend its ‘Airtel 5G Plus’ system to all towns and key rural areas by March 2024 and now claims to cover ‘every major city from the upper northern city of Jammu to the southern tip of Kanyakumari.’
