Bouygues Telecom has revamped its 5G Box offering with the addition of a new package that bundles “unlimited” 5G connectivity with access to the operator’s IPTV platform via a new TV streaming dongle. The latter, dubbed B.tv, features a remote control with dedicated buttons for video apps (B.tv, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video). It connects to the TV via HDMI and has a EUR 20 price tag. In addition to this one-off cost, customers pay EUR 44.99/month for the package, with no minimum contract period. This subscription offers over 180 TV channels and around 30 replay services. It also enables users to record in the cloud, starting from 100 hours with the basic tier.

Bouygues Telecom has been marketing the 5G Box service since mid-2022 across its 3.5 GHz network, in areas where fibre connectivity is still unavailable. New sign-ups can buy the package without the streaming dongle for EUR 40.99/month and still take advantage of the operator’s B.tv application for connected screens, which gives access to over 70 TV channels and many replay services.

With both pricing tiers, the 5G Box comes with Arcadyan-branded equipment supporting the WiFi 6 standard.
