PPF Group’s Czech infrastructure business CETIN has reportedly completed its 5G network rollout across Central Moravia – covering approximately 1.22 million people in the regions of Zlin and Olomouc. The latest service expansion marks the halfway mark in the group’s nationwide rollout programme for the Czech Republic and builds on CETIN’s existing asset portfolio which includes approximately 11,700 sites, including 3,400 towers, 14,500 PoPs and 86,800km of fibre-optic cables. In addition, CETIN provides fixed access network services passing 3.9 million Czech households via its recently modernised fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC ) network and additional 200,000 households with ADSL network and 105,000 premises with fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) technology: together representing 85% of all households in the Republic.
