China Unicom posted operating revenue of CNY 263.97 billion for the first three quarters of 2022, which represents an increase of 8 percent year-on-year. Service revenue reached CNY 239.65 billion, up by 7.8 percent year-on-year. Profit amounted to CNY 15.66 billion, up by 21.2 percent year-on-year. EBITDA rose 1.9 percent year-on-year to CNY 76.73 billion. 

China Unicom also reports it ended September with 842 million ā€˜Big Connectivityā€™ subscribers. Of these, the number of 5G package subscribers reached 201 million, driving the Groupā€™s mobile service revenue to rise by 3.3 percent year-on-year to CNY 127,356 million. Fixed-line broadband access revenue grew by 3.9 percent year-on-year to CNY 34,642 million. 

The number of IoT terminal connections in the China Unicom network reached 366 million at end-September, while IoT revenue reached CNY 6.16 billion, up by 35.6 percent year-on-year.

Unicom Cloudā€™s revenue reached CNY 26.87 billion, up by 142 percent year-on-year. IDC revenue rose 12.9 percent to CNY 18.61 billion. Big Data revenue reached CNY 2.7 billion, which represents an increase of 56.3 percent year-on-year.
