Claro Brasil has launched a new 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) service, offering initial coverage of Sao Paulo, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and Brasilia. The ‘Claro 5G+’ service utilises Claro’s 5G frequencies in the 2.3GHz and 3.5GHz band, with monthly data allowances of 200GB and 400GB priced at BRL199 (USD41.4) and BRL399 per month, respectively. A modem is priced at BRL999.90.
