Finnish cellcos DNA and Elisa have announced 5G network expansions, extending their coverage to Multila (DNA) and Masku and Lapinjarvi (Elisa). DNA reported that the works bring its total 5G footprint to 217 locations and 86% of the population. A spokesperson for the firm added that the company is planning to add ‘several dozen’ more 5G stations in central Finland in 2023. For its part, Elisa announced that its 5G expansion has improved its population coverage to 87%, with its 5G network available in 234 locations.
