Globe Telecom is partnering Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) as part of a joint initiative to roll out the country’s first private 5G Standalone (SA) network to help enterprises drive their digital transformation. Reportedly built with equipment from HPE’s subsidiary Athonet, the new network will deliver mobile connectivity as an alternative or complement to Wi-Fi and public mobile platforms, capable of handling massive Internet of Things (IoT) deployments supporting mission-critical applications.
