Iez! Telecom taps Algar’s 5G core infrastructure for network launch

Algar Telecom and iez! telecom have signed a strategic partnership to accelerate iez!’s 5G network rollout in Southeast Brazil. Iez! will leverage Algar Telecom’s Core as a Service product, including infrastructure for billing, provisioning, network operations (NOC), and data centres. 

This partnership enables iez! to expedite the deployment of its 5G network across the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Espírito Santo where the operator has spectrum licences. Utilizing Algar’s core network as a service allows iez! to optimize resources and streamline the business model.

Algar Telecom’s ‘as a service’ model allows partners to share core network infrastructure, reducing costs and facilitating faster network deployments.
