Grupo MASMOVIL (including Yoigo) has issued a press release on the progress of its 5G network rollout, noting that fifth-generation services are already available to 77% of the Spanish population. In its latest deployment phase, the company expanded its 5G footprint to 151 new towns and already boasts 5G coverage ‘in all Spanish provinces’, increasing the total number of towns/municipalities on air to 2,217 throughout the country.
