Nokia and Tele2 have teamed up to offer private 5G mobile networks to businesses in Sweden. The firms say the partnership will enable industries to benefit from robust, secure, low latency connectivity of assets, as well as powerful edge cloud data processing. The 5G solution will be based on Nokia’s Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) end-to-end private wireless networking and edge computing platform.
Stefan Trampus, executive vice president for B2B at Tele2, said: ‘There is a growing demand for tailored private wireless solutions among our enterprise customers. Offering the solution will allow customers to speed deployment and implement new capabilities as their needs evolve.’
