T-Mobile Poland has extended its partnership with equipment vendor Nokia for a further ten years. The deal will cover radio network modernisation and the introduction of new 5G services, and will increase Nokia’s participation in T-Mobile’s network rollout programme to 50%. The vendor will be supplying its latest AirScale equipment portfolio, including Single RAN, AirScale base stations and 5G Massive MIMO antennas for indoor and outdoor coverage. T-Mobile says it plans to utilise 4G and 5G Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) on lower bands and later the 3.5GHz band for 5G dense urban coverage.
