Portuguese mobile operator Nos has introduced a 5G Standalone (5G SA) network. The new 5G SA Data Core was developed in partnership with Nokia, while the evolution of the data component was developed in partnership with Ericsson. Currently, Nos offers 5G services to 93% of the population, via 4,200 5G sites.
