Telemach Croatia could spend up to EUR100 million (USD114 million) this year as it continues to roll out 5G networks and fibre infrastructure. A report from HINA cites CEO Adrian Jezina as saying that the whole of Zagreb now has 5G access, with all main cities along the Adriatic coast to be covered by the summer. The focus will then switch to Slavonia and other regions.

In the fixed broadband sector, meanwhile, Telemach aims to deploy fibre infrastructure past 500,000 households over the next five years. Telemach, which is part of United Group, recently completed its acquisition of a majority stake in fixed ISP Optima Telekom.
