State-backed full-service provider Tunisie Telecom (TT) has carried out demonstrations of 5G mobile services as part of the International Francophonie Summit in Djerba. Agence Ecofin writes that the showcase was conducted with technical support from Swedish vendor Ericsson, and featured download speeds of up to 2.5Gbps. The operator is aiming for a commercial launch of the technology in 2023 or 2024.
