Vodafone Italia debuts 5G FWA plan at 300 Mbps speeds

Vodafone Italia has officially launched a new Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) offer on its 5G network, offering speeds of up to 300 Mbps in covered areas. The new Vodafone Casa Wireless+ 5G offer comes a couple of years after the operator unveiled its first FWA plan, offering 4G speeds of around 100 Mbps to customers unable to access the company’s fixed network infrastructure. The 5G FWA package comes with an external antenna connected via Ethernet cable to a Vodafone Power Station router. It costs EUR 27.90 a month, or EUR 24.90 for existing Vodafone mobile customers, for unlimited data at speeds of up to 300 Mbps, plus unlimited calls to Italian numbers. Activation fees are EUR 4 a month over 24 months.
