The 5G TDD network of Italian operator WINDTRE now covers over half the country’s population. The firm’s website says that 53.1% of Italians can now access its 3.7GHz 5G fixed wireless services, up from 45.6% in January. Its 5G FDD network meanwhile is available to 95.7% of the population using the 1800MHz and 2.6GHz bands which are shared with its 4G network.
