Zain Kuwait, working alongside Chinese vendor Huawei, has achieved download speeds of 10Gbps in what it has described as a trial of ‘5.5G’ technology. The test was carried out under the supervision of the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) and also involved the demonstration of Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communication (URLLC) functionality.
