Polish telco Plus (registered as Polkomtel) has expanded its 5G network to cover more than 20 million residents in almost 1,000 cities and towns across the country. 221 locations were recently added to its network footprint. The firm says its 5G network now incorporates nearly 3,500 base stations, offering peak download rates of up to 600Mbps and average rates around 140Mbps using the 2.6GHz band. Over 130 devices are available to use on the Plus 5G network, including smartphones and home routers.
