Indian mobile operator Airtel reports it has passed the 50 million unique 5G customers milestone on its network, in the first year since its 5G service launch on the local market. The operator also announced that Airtel 5G Plus services are now available across all districts of India.
Airtel reached 10 million unique 5G users in February. Airtel had 1 million unique customers on its network in November 2022, in the first 30 days following the service’s commercial launch.
