JTower has developed a glass antenna that turns a window into a base station for the 5G sub-6 GHz bands, in partnership with AGC and with technical cooperation from NTT Docomo. The glass antennas are intended for installation in outdoor event spaces adjacent to buildings, roads and other locations where landscape considerations are important, and will enable more efficient expansion of the 5G area through the use of infrastructure sharing. JTower has installed a 5G infrastructure sharing network using the antennas at Shinjuku 3-Chome East Building in Tokyo.

JTower began providing indoor infrastructure sharing services in 2014 with its independently developed shared equipment. It completed the development of shared equipment compatible with 5G (sub 6 GHz bands), and following the launch of the first service in Japan, the system is being fully introduced across the country. At the end of March 2024 it had installed 5G inside 124 properties.
