DISH Network has announced that 5G Voice over New Radio (VoNR) connectivity is now available in a number of additional markets, including Cincinnati, OH; Fayetteville, NC; Jacksonville, FL; Minneapolis, MN; Philadelphia, PA; Portland, OR; Shreveport, LA; Tucson, AZ; and Washington, DC. The service is available via the Boost Mobile and Boost Infinite brands.

A streamlining of DISHā€™s mobile portfolio appears to be on the cards, with the DISHWireless portal now directing customers towards Boost MobileBoost Infinite and Gen Mobile for connectivity. Ting Mobile, while still a sub-brand, is not included, after DISH opted not to acquire the Ting brand from Canadian internet firm Tucows. DISHā€™s rights to the brand are set to expire at the end of this month. An additional brand, Project Genesis ā€“ which was initially expected to be used for DISHā€™s 5G network ā€“ retains an active website, but is not a customer-facing brand.
